Today is World Alzheimer’s Day. As I’ve lobbied for more federal funding and legislation for Alzheimer’s disease, I’ve talked at length about the 5 million Americans currently living with Alzheimer’s disease.
This epidemic isn’t limited to the United States. Alzheimer’s is an international issue. There are over 26 million people worldwide suffering from Alzheimer’s and other dementias. The Alzheimer’s Association anticipates that number will quadruple by 2050.
Any donation made to the Alzheimer’s Association today will be doubled. Today is also a day to join the cause. Click here to learn how you can be part of the solution.
