I’ve posted in the past about my friends at Eco-Libris, who make it easy to read green. For every book read, they’ll plant a tree. Now they’re pairing up with Simon and Schuster’s Little Green Books, the first ever eco-friendly kid’s line. Little Green Books will be printed on recycled material and will help to teach and promote environmental causes to parents and their little sprouts.
From now through December 1st kidlets ages 5-10 can share their ideas for protecting and preserving the earth as part of the “I Can Save the Earth” contest. Click here to visit the contest website and get your kids thinking green. As part of the contest, prizes including free copies of the new line of books and trees planted in developing countries will be given out. You’re never too young to be green!
