I’ve posted in the past about how imperative it is to support funding to the NIH (National Institute of Health). A new study funded by the NIH, released earlier this week has isolated a potential causative agent for Alzheimer’s disease. You can read about the study here. What’s exciting about this research is it targets a new path for future drug therapies.
The only route to a cure is continued funding to studies such as this. Take a moment to forward this article to your congressional representatives and encourage them to support the Alzheimer’s Association’s call for increased NIH funding!
