After 11 months of pulling out my hair, brewing new pots of coffee at midnight, and Gordy and Luke begging me to come snuggle with them, I have finished the book! Okay sure there is much more to be done, edits, feedback from my critique group, but for the moment I will bask in the joy of knowing how it ends. Thanks to all of you who’ve encouraged me along the way, sorry for not returning phone calls, and being holed up in my yoga pants surrounded by mounds of paper and various drafts. After the holidays I plan on becoming a productive member of society again, or at least showering daily.
