Thank you! The Alzheimer’s Memory Walk was a smashing success. It turned out to be a beautiful morning, with no rain. In fact most of us ended up taking off layers. It’s official Team Dyer is one of the top fundraisers in Portland. Raising a total of $7,140. Follow this link, for standings and total fundraising. Great work team! Mark your calendars for next year. We can try to double that number. There is some promising research on the horizon. One theory is that Alzheimer’s could be a third type of diabetes. Since 1982 the Alzheimer’s Association has awarded over $220 million in research grants that fund studies like these. The money you’ve all helped raise will go towards funding innovative research and providing support and care for families dealing with this devastating disease.
